This listing is for a pair of 19th century gilt carved wood double wall shelves. They measures 16 ½ inches tall at the back, 11 ½ inches at their widest, and just over 4 inches deep (41 by 29 by 10 cm).
The pair is art nouveau in style. The wood is gilt gold and finely carved with large scrolling acanthus leaves that support two half round shelves. They are in very good condition, but there is wear to the gilt, and minor repairs to the wood. Please see the many photos for more on the look and condition.
