On offer today is a very rare set of 6 dinner forks in Queens pattern double struck,they have an Anthemion heel. Assayed in London by well regarded flatware maker William Chawner.Theyare dated 1827-year letter m. Hallmarks are deep and clear. Their length is 7.875 inches. Collectively theyweigh a staggering 624 grams (20.06 troy ounces) and each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.They have wear commensurate with age and use but are too good to scrap as they are by a sought after flatware maker and in this special pattern.They are engraved to the back with a wondrous bird of prey crest and always have been, definitely no erasures and have plenty of life left in them yet.

Afunctional late George IV lot in this highly desirable and sought after pattern.
