Up for sale here is an amazing vintage, high lustre, cultured pearl and sapphire solid gold versatile item which has a secure pin for when worn as a brooch, and a sturdy loop so that it can be worn as a pendant, or a safety chain can be attached. This is heavy, in solid 14 carat gold, has been superbly crafted and is in excellent condition. Within the pearl clusters are well set, bright and sparkling genuine sapphires.PLEASE NOTE THIS ITEM HAS A HIGH SHINE - ANYTHING THAT LOOKS LIKE DISCOLOURATION IS A REFLECTION! NO REPLACEMENT PEARLS, OR GLUE DEPOSITS BETWEEN THE PEARLS!This beautiful brooch is marked 14K and features a makers mark in a clam shell - please see the high resolution photos. This really is made to an extremely high standard and the wearer could hold her head up high for the most formal occasions in this - it is perfectly suited to being worn to a wedding, dinner, ball or the opera house.
