A large, wonderful cookie jar in the shape of apear by Fitz and Floyd in the Sommer Hill pattern. Both the lid and the base of the cookie jarare slanted which hopefully you are able to see in the pictures. It makes the piece a little moreinteresting. The pear is an all overrich, soft buttery yellow color, with just hints of pink/peach tones. Flowing down from the stem (which forms thehandle of the top) are 3 dimensional leaves in green tones, and a yellow andblack butterfly. A twisted stem wraps around the edge of the lid, with branchesdipping down on to the base. It’s a verystriking, yet subtle design.
