The firstcard is titled \"NO MA\'AM, I DIDN\'T COME TO SHOOT BIRDS!\" 1880
The second card is titled \"FROLICSOME KITS\" 1880
The third card is another rare trade card produced by Currier & Ives. It shows the back stage production of Gilbert & Sullivan\'s operetta H.M.S. Pinafore. The card is titled \"FAIR MOON TO THEE I SING\". 1880
The fourth card is titled \"LAYING BACK - STIFF FOR A BRUSH\" 1878

Trade Cards are hand-colored lithographs and are early examples of the modern business card. Merchants distributed these small advertisements to their clients and prospective customers and the designs were often witty to catch the viewer’s attention. As the cards became more attractive and colorful, collecting trade cards became a popular hobby in the late 19th century. Currier & Ives produced nearly 200 different trade card designs.
