Warner, at the Black-Boy in Pater-Noster-Row M.DCC.XXXIII. [1733]A folio volume, it measures approx 36cm x 24cm x 7.8cm. Bound in full leather with 6 raised bands to spine. As can be seen from the photos, the boards are surface worn and scuffed, and the corners and edges are bumped, chipped and peeling, with loss in places. The rear hinge is splitting, but remains fairly firm attatched. The headbands are missing. The front hinge is also splitting, and hangs by a single thread. Internally, the front free endpaper is missing, and the rearendpapers and blanks are a little browned and dusty.The reverse of the engraved title has some ink hand writing, has a heavy crease, and a hole to the inner margin. The first page of text has some initials to the top margin. The contents have a few scattered marks and smudges, ink spots, corner creases, thumbing and light grubbiness.Four of the folding maps have tears to the inner edges, affecting images, and some creasing to edges. The folding plan of Jerusalem has a shorter tear and crease to the inner edge, and the folding plan of the Temple has a large but effective repair to large tear, and a smaller tear and crease to inner edge, see images. naturally the large text block is begiining to crack/strain in places. On the whole the contents are largley clean and bright throughout. Engraved title page, text title page, 20 pages of prelims, 1-917, 26 pages of Index. Added engraved title, title printed in red and black, 4 folding maps,2 full page copper engraved plates,2 folding engraved plans (Jerusalem & Temple), and afolding genealogical table.
