Up for sale:FLORENCE SEWING MACHINE TREADLE HEAD.According to theGraceRogersCooper book \" The Sewing Machine: Its Invention and Development\"Smithsonian Books, 1976 2nd revised andexpanded edition, TheFLORENCE Sewing Machine Compny exsisted from 1860 to 1876. This machine has beenlubricated and the mechanism moves freely.The shuttle, bobbin and needle are missing. Much of the alborate hand painted decoration is still visable. Measures 8\" x 16\" x 6 1/2\".
