Vintage original scrapbook full of newspaper clippings, pictures, and articles from the World War II era. These clippings are from 1941, just before Pearl Harbour and just before the U.S. entered the war, so emphasis is on American supplies to the wartime effort and the Nazi occupation in Europe, including the invasions of Yugoslavia, Greece, Albania, Bulgaria & \"The Axis\" (including Italy - Mussolini) & Japan.
These clippings include: naval and airforce equipment, wartime updates, Hitler\'s & Nazi activities, maps of Nazi occupation, political cartoons, soldiers, local U.S. issues and celebrities (Marlene Dietrich, Jane Wyman (Mrs. Ronald Reagan), Marian Anderson, Alice Faye, Laurence Olivier, Shirley Temple, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Ford, the Roosevelts, Gloria Swanson, Charles Lindbergh). A full 90+ pages (front and back - includes 100\'s of photos, maps, articles, cartoons)! This is a fabulous lot of US military ephemera.
