Here is a really lovely antique mens rare 9ct gold & sardonyx shield signet ring. The ring is all made of 9ct yellow gold with a lovely ritch patina to the gold, with the setting in 9ct rose gold measuring nearly by half of an inch either way .This ring has a lovely embossed style & shoulders around to a lovely early shield shaped setting, which nicely is set with flat cut, polished sardonyx. The ring has a full set of english hallmarks , which is for Cheter, 9ct gold & 1895 & makers mark, so dates to the end of the victorian era ring size R, so probably a pinkie ring & weighs 4.6g & just has wear as you would associate with age & wear, but certainly bnothing that detracts in any way . This really is a lovely vintage mens sardonyx ring in very good origional complete condition that looks lovely quality worn & lovely quality rare antique chester example.
