A fabulous & quite rare Pair of Art Deco of 9ct Gold \'Flapper\' Slave Bangles, which date to c1925 and were made by the highly respected firm of Deakin & Francis(please study the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of this item\'s description).
This wonderful matched pair of 9ct Gold Bangles, which weigh an impressive 23.1 grams, are embellished with fine engine turned decoration. Both Bangles are stamped \'9ct\', as shown, confirming that they are made from solid 9ct Gold i.e although of hollow construction they are made of solid 9ct Gold and are not just Gold Plated.
As shown, the Bangles have been fashioned as concentric circles i.e they have different diameters to enable them to be worn one above the other on the arm. The smaller Bangle of the two has an inner diameter of approx\' 6.4cms (or an inner circumference of approx\' 20.1cms), while the larger Bangle has an inner diameter of approx\' 7.4cms, which equates to an inner circumference of approx\' 23.25cms.
