True Vintage Amazing Lace Hem Unbranded Half Slip.
This vintage half slip has a very wide, scalloped lace overlay at the hem. It is unbranded, because the looped cloth tag is just too faded to read. The body of the half slip is Nylon, and where the lace hem starts it has sheer chiffon underneath the lace. The lace has aged to a wonderful patina...I would call the color of the lace Ivory. It is a slightly different color from the Nylon slip, and it is simply stunning.
The elastic waistband has a pillow tab. I believe this is from the 1960\'s. The lace at the hem slightly flares out from the upper part of the slip. I see no issues other than what appears to be a hand sewn repair on the lace at the side seam. That side seems to flare out slightly more than the other side, but other than that, it is still simply stunning. I am starting the offerding accordingly. It\'s still a great half slip, and a perfect addition to any vintage slip or lingerie collection.
They just don\'t make them like this anymore.
