Fabulous M & Co. Engine Turned Early 18th C. Bronze Brass European Candlesticks:

This absolutely gorgeous set of 19th Century Candlesticks measure about 11.25\" tall and are mostly in very nicecondition. They have some dings and patina as pictured, but really look great and have great presence. One of the most unusual aspects of the sicks is the area set for a monogram. It is a little engraved sash orbelt motif roundel. Most unusual. The stick are constructed together except for the feetwhich are bolted on. They have great contour lines and surface decoration. Really nice pieces. They are marked M & Co. I have not been been able to identify the firm. Mysuspicion is they are English approximately Regency Period. Ibelieve the material is a somewhat patinated Ormolu Bronze. The surface would have been more patinated like the bottom without plating.
