- They are clip ons.....not pierced.
- I believe that there is possibly a maker\'s mark. When the round part of the clip, that touches the back of the ear, is visible, on it is an eye shape with a curving line beneath it. I cannot verify this but it certainly could be a maker\'s mark. Furthermore, I believe that the earrings certainly contain silver if they are not sterling. I find no sterling mark.
- I do believe that theywere artisan made and not mass marketed.
- The earring is round. It has a nouveau style design with cutwork and a nice level of thickness to them.
- This type of clip is the more comfortable, I believe.
