Here for your consideration is a magnificent, sterling silver, heavy, modern, fox head, sporting/travelling stirrupcup, fullyhallmarked with delightfully engraved relief repousse workmanship, tapering turned ribbed body and fluted top edge.

This is a good novelty Francis Howard sporting/travelling stirrup cup.How manyof these have youseen.An extremely rare find indeed, I\'ve only got one, once it\'s gone.... it\'s gone. You might never findanother one this good, and if there\'sone thing I\'ve learned about antiques/collectables when items areof quality and rare, he who hesitates usually loses out.

It\'s insuperb original condition, bearing the FH maker\'s mark for Francis Howard Ltd. The cup is also marked with the lion passant, Sheffield rose assay mark, and the date letter \'e\'in a chamfered square cartouche for 1979.

A beautiful example of a novelty fox head sporting/stirrupcup by one of the very best Art Nouveau english silversmiths. It\'s in exceptionally goodcondition with no damage, dents, splits orrepairs. Whoever purchases thisexquisite novelty stirrup cup certainlywon\'t be disappointed !!
