Selling this beautiful Rare art deco mid century vintage electric wall lamp with original glass shade. This is a highly polished brass plated lamp with the original glass shade and has the easy on/off turn switch on the bottom. The original label reads; Testing Laboratories Approved - Electric Fixture - LL4209 - Ser 40 - VIRDEN LIGHTING. The lamp is untested but has the original black and white wires on the back for connecting to your power and the turn nob operates very easily snapping on and off nicely. I took photos with a full sized peach color bulb that was acquired with the lamp and I also took photos of the lamp with a smaller sized blue light bulb so that you get an idea of what could be used with this lamp. It is a beauty!The highly polished brass plating is in very nice condition with only the slightest minimal wear and some microscopic white paint specks which could quite easily be removed but not necessary in my opinion. also some white paint on the edges of the back plate of the brass fixture but this is hardly detracting and will come clean with a paint remover and again not necessary.The curved glass shade in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and it has this gorgeous overshot gold glitter decoration and wonderful geometrical design. I would date this lamp somewhere between the 1950\'s to maybe early 60\'s. Measures about 8 inches tall by 4-5/8\" wide and 5\" deep from front to back. High buyer will receive both light bulbs as shown and both bulbs are working. The glass shade slips nicely onto the lamp with no rattling! This is a very well made lamp.Happy offerding!
