This has the feel of being a very happy quilt. There are lots of polkadots, plaids, stripes, paisleys and some floral fabrics. My best guess is that it was made in the 70s with use of a lot of older fabric scraps. There are even some small floral prints that sure look like feed sack fabric to me. Each square is 7 1/4 inch. I don\'t know the name of this particular block. If you are familiar with it I\'d love it if you would let me know what is the name of the blocks. It seems it might be some kind of a signature block because the center rectangle is perfect for signatures.The \"measures 76\" x 81\". The light purple blocks do have some fading. The fading show as the light purple colors have bled out into the surrounding areas. The quilt is entirely machine stitched patchwork.
