It is a lovely, gemmy red- and looks to be in good condition- see pics.Please look carefully at the pics- I am not a jeweler and I know very little about these types of things. A very nice stone!
I purchased the large Estate of a gemstone/mineral collector, most of his items were mined between the 40\'s and the 70\'s- and have been in storage a long while. I will be listing more from his remarkable estate over the coming weeks. :)
