Here is a fabulous, all composition, factory original including early box and hang tag, 15\" Madame Alexander McGuffey Ana in mint condition. I’m sure this McGuffey Ana has never been undressed and perhaps never removed from her box before I did so for the pictures. The only thing not mint about McGuffey Ana is her eyes have clouded but other then that everything about her is perfect. That’s a treat to get a composition doll this perfect and unplayed with as most times they can be a mess. McGuffey Ana is 15\" tall and marked on her neck Alexander Princes Elizabeth and was made in the 1930’s by the Madame Alexander doll factory. I’m told this is an early McGuffey Ana due to her box which I have never seen before, plus, her outfit is a harder one to find and I think wool. Her face is perfect with wonderful high color and her painted features are exceptional. Her only flaw is her eyes have dried and crackled and no oil has been used. If you put a drop of oil in each eye it helps the eye swell and fill in the lines making the eyes look like eyes again. Some don’t like that done so I’ll leave that to you or if you want I’d be glad to do it for you before shipping. She has all her eyelid color and human hair lashes with the cutest little pug nose and round rosy cheeks. Her painted brows, lower lashes and lips are perfect and she has her original 4 teeth. Her original blonde human hair wig is perfect and in the original set with long braids, curly bangs and original matching blue ribbon bows on the ends of her braids. Her hair has never been touched and still have the original hair pins on her curls and on the side by her braids. Her composition body perfect with original shiny finish and blush on her knees and hands and here is no wear at all even around the joints and she still has the original elastic cording. She is wearing her original tagged red and blue plaid dress in mint condition. It has short cap sleeves with elastic around the arms along with a wider peter pan collar that is the same organdy material as her pinafore. Her dress is snug to the waist then gathers so it’s wonderfully full around the bottom and has attached matching pantaloons with elastic around the legs. I think it’s wool and the colors are fabulous with no fading, rips or repairs. Her original white organdy pinafore is outstanding with embroidered scallops around the edges and ruffles over the shoulders with a huge bow in back. Her dress has the original tag that reads McGuffey Ana Madame Alexander N.Y.U.S.A. All Rights Reserved and as everything else it’s perfect. Her outfit including pinafore is as clean and crisp as the day it was made as are her shoes and socks. Her original socks are perfect and her Madame Alexander boots are excellent with 2 snaps on the sides. As you can see she has her original hang tag on her wrist. The front tell you who she is and that she looks like her mommy when she went to school with a fabulous pictures and on back, like the label on her box it read Madame Alexander New York All Rights Reserved. She comes all nestled in her original box with original neck guard inside. The corners on the lid of the box have been retaped if you look close but the bottom is fabulous with no wear. The paper label on the end of the box is outstanding and has the cutest picture of McGuffy Ana drawing of her school house that is adorable and also says Madame Alexander New York All Right Reserved and the stamped code for this particular McGuffy Ana 2204. She is a fabulous, mint factory original Madame Alexander McGuffey Ana so if you have her sister Flora McFlimsey then you would have the prefect girl to add to your collection. This mint, totally factory original, mint in box with hang tag, 15\" Madame Alexander McGuffey Ana Character girl seems to sell in this condition for around $700.00 but but for fun she is being sold “as is” and without reserve so don’t let her get away. You don’t often find the early Madame Alexander dolls in such pristine condition with box and hang tag. Lucky winner pays $32.00 S/I and international would be more.
