Up for sale is a used vintage boxed set of Grimms\' and Andersen\'s Fairy Tales. Copyright 1945. Published by Grosset & Dunlap Publishers, New York. This used hardcover boxed book set is in good used vintage condition, good reading copies. The outer box shows wear with fading, nicks and scuffs and wear and some tearing along the corners and edges. The hardcover books inside show wear with some fading, nicks and scuffs, wear along the corners and edges. Page edges are red across the top on one and green across the top on the other show some fading, the rest of the edges show some yellowing, minor spotting, a few scuffs. Inside pages show minor yellowing, a few turned page corners here and there, some check marks on the contents pages, otherwise the inside pages are nice and bright and clean. Titles and details:Andersen\'s Fairy Tales by Hans Christian Andersen, Translated by Mrs. E.V. Lucas & Mrs. H.B. Paull, Illustrated by Arthur Szyk.

Binding is slightly loose at the rear inside seams, all pages are firmly attached Wonderful! There is still a lot of life and enjoyment left in these books!
