This listing is for a Fantastic Antique American Arts & Crafts Period Hooked Rug with an Abstract / Primitive design .Shreaded / Striped wool rags on Burlap Foundation.Great colors.Beautiful and even fading of face colors.The rug is in excellent antique condition. with very little / few loops, missing on lower left of grey-white field. Barely noticeable, Easily restorable.Small repair / reinforcement on one side edge near corner as shown, not noticeable from front and you have to look for it to notice it.Very Graphic.The rug measures approximately 22 1/2 inches by 35 inches.Very Decorative.For colors , see images.Worthy of Hanging. Display ready.It has recently been soak washed by a textile conservator and is clean enough to touch face with.I usually post many more images on my listing than the 12 listed on gallery which only will be visible to individuals on classic site.
