Thiswonderful Marc Craven face just is just spectacular! The Craven family has beenmaking pottery since 1712. Marc Craven the son of Billy Joe Craven was born inGeorgia. Marc is the tenth generation potter in the Craven family. He has beeninvolved with the family business since he could play in the clay. Marc onlymakes around a hundred Folk Face Jug pieces per year. He has added his ownunique style to each and every piece. He also carries down the familytraditions. This fabulous jug measuresapproximately 10 ½” tall and is 7 ½” wide at the handle and 5 ½” wide at thebase. The glazing on this piece is nothing less than perfect. This jug is freeof chips or cracks. It is mint, mint, mint. The way this guy is looking up atyou makes you smile. His bushy eyebrows, big nose and 3 teeth add just enoughto give this guy a very special personality! This jug would make a great addition to yourcollection; especially since it’s a Craven!
