FANTASTIC RARE VARIATION Antique c1860 Log Cabin

What an incredible variation, one that we have not seen before, of the log cabin pattern!

Graphic and moving. The white areas form their own pattern of whirligig type patterns.

Wonderful fabrics include a lot of indigo blue, turkey red, neon on black, purples.

There is a light feedsack print on the back, it pictures a ship anchor and below that it reads, Anchor LL. There is another print on the back but most of it has faded away and so it\'s not legible.

It is handpieced.

Hand bound.

Measures 83\" x 70\"

There is light tanning and spots/marks throughout, there is one, tiny 1/4\" surface tear in one of the red pieces, light fading to the print on some pieces, on the back there is tanning, light fold lines, and a little seam opening on the binding. (See photos.)

A wonderful quilt for the collector.
