Fantastic Vintage Navajo Sandcast Silver & Turquoise Headstall / Bridle:

This headstall was purchased from Richardson\'s Trading Post in Gallup, New Mexico about 25 years ago This is not like most of the pounded silver headstalls you see as it is all sand cast pieces . As a result it weighs almost 3 lbs. I have only seen others like this in books. It does not to appear to have ever been on a horse and is in excellent condition. Each side has bit end pieces are 4 1/4\" long. The middle pieces which include the round piece are 7 1/2\" long. 3 pieces make up the brow band. One is L shaped connects the brow band to the side, the longest side is 4 1/4\", the shortest is 2\". There is a 1 1/2\" piece that helps the it curve to the horse. The center piece is 5 1/2\" across with a 2 3/4 by 2 1/2\" Naja. There are 12 pieces of Turquoise, The largest pieces are around 1\". I have not removed the silver and do not know if it is signed anywhere. It is Beautiful workmanship and would be a great addition to anyone\'s collection. Please ask questions.
