This is simply a fantastic and doubtlessly rare 2-part butter mold / print. The image is that of a heart, flower and star. But adding to that, notice from pictures 6, 7 and 8 that the upper section that renders the mold a mold is itself chip carved so as to leave an decorative motif around the edge of the oval block of butter. That top part of the mold then opens up so the butter can be removed without distorting the image around its edge (see my 9th picture). Collectors may have seen this before, but I haven\'t. As for dimensions, she\'s 12 1/4\" long overall x 4 1/2\" x 2 1/4\" high, while the image would make an oval block that measures 8 1/2\" x 3 5/8\" x 1 1/4\". In any event, domestic USPS shipping will run $18 and I can combine on multiple purchases.
