FIRST, THE ITEM DESCRIPTION: The Felix figure is posed seated with his long tail wrapped around the front. He has googly eyes – round black discs under clear plastic covers that move when figure is moved. He has a big wide grin. The face is nearly identical to the face on the made in Japan salt & pepper shakers which I am also selling on . This figure came first, probably mid-1920s while the shakers are from the early 1930s. Excellent condition. Marked Germany on the back close to bottom edge & the number 121. I think that there is a chip on the inside of 1 ear but it may have been a factory flaw. In any event 1 ear has an irregularity to the shape that is not present on the inside of the other ear. Not easily seen but it is there. Look at the photo taken from the side & use the close up tool to focus on the ear. I call it a minor defect & the figure is priced to reflect the flaw.
