Up for sale is a chocolate glass covered turkey box made by the Fenton Art Glass Company in Williamstown, West Virginia. This piece was one of many outstanding pieces offered during Fenton Art Glass\' 100th Anniversary Celebration in 2005. Chocolate glass dates back to 1907 at Fenton and is a collector favorite. Fenton specially reissued this color to celebrate their 100th anniversary.This collectible turkey box (catalog number 6410-CK) measures about 5 3/8\" long, 4 1/8\" wide, and 4 3/8\" tall. It\'s made of medium brown chocolate glass with a light brown interior. These boxes ranged in color from a deep mocha shade to a milky cocoa color with no two pieces ever being the same. The interior of the base has the \"Script F\" Fenton logo with a \"0\". The inside of the lid has the same mark, as well as Fenton\'s 100th anniversary logo. There is no paper label on this piece and I do not have the original box. I purchased this covered turkey box at a recent estate sale.Condition of this Fenton chocolate glass turkey box is EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, or fleabites. It looks fantastic and displays beautifully. This covered box would make a wonderful addition to any Fenton art glass collection.
