Fibenare makes the best bass you’ve never heard of!
Three brothers make up the Fibenare team. They make everything in-house, by hand! In addition to the woodworking, they make their own pickups, preamps, bridge - even the case! The case is the best case I’ve seen coming with a boutique bass - made of strong but lightweight fiberglass, it offers lots of protection in an easy to carry format.
The bass is an amazing instrument! The second you pick it up the quality of the workmanship is apparent. Everything fits together perfectly, and feels sooooo gooooood!
The electronics sound amazing! In addition to the volume and blend, and bass-mid-treble controls, you also have an active/passive switch, and then two coil selection switches that allow you to choose between series, parallel, or single coil.
Finish is a very thin Nitrocellulose (I believe). This allows the bass to breathe, and the tone is incredible. You\'ll see some swirls around the buckeyes, etc, which is normal with a thin finish.
