This lovely antique Chinese porcelain ginger jar has a nice form with matching lid. It is decorated in a mirror black glaze with ghost imagery on one side where a gold gilt scene was once present and worn away with time. It dates from the late 18th to the early 19th Century and measures approximately 11 + 3/8 inches tall by 7 inches across the shoulder and 5 + ½ inches across the base. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
