Thank you and Happy Holiday Season to All Beautiful and clean example of the Mediterranean hunting knife dating from around mid to late 1700s, having ornate brass mounts engraved with floral and foliage motifs, with typical fluted grip and iron ferrule. Mounted with a leafed form single edged blade having prolonged false edge area and featuring finely engraved floral decorations on both sides, blade exhibits nice gray patina with areas of fine pitting and just slightest wear to the tip. Intact overall with just grip\'s brass sections turning slightly around the tang, comes with its beautiful and elegant brass scabbard also profusely engraved with florals.
Overall 12 3/4\"Blade 7\" including the brass overlay at ricasso.
