Description: - This is an excellent antiqueGeorgian periodZodiac ring. The ring is made up ofa flat-section hoop withscrolling bands to the edges, and median band of twelve zodiacal signs. Understood to be of West African workmanship. Provenance:Theringwas part of a collection froman collectordescendedfrom anEnglish family of note. The ring is unhallmarked, and has been tested, and confirmed to be 18 carat gold minimum fineness.
