This wonderful early Limoges enamel on copper portrait is of a young woman wearing a large fancy hat. It has rich colors and is mounted in a gilt ormolu frame with rear leg. It dates from the 19th Century and measures approximately 3 + ¼ inches diameter overall without the relief ribbon at the top. It is in excellent condition, as can be seen in the photo.
