All of my sales have !!Item Details: Fine Antique 19th Century Painting Gouache Watercolor in Lacquer Box .A beautifully worked and unusual painting, that is a watercolor or gouache but with raised figures to the center, which looked to be formed of an under-stuffed silk with painted detailing. It really is fine work of the highest quality and most unusual.It is painted on a fine Chinese rice paper that has been applied to board and this is edged in fabric.It has obviously been valued and has been stored in a large Antique Chinese Lacquered box. Therefore the colours are nearly as bright and vibrant as the day they were painted.The box is included in this sale, it is good quality but does have two large shrinkage crack running across the lid, with odd knocks and bumps around the edges.Quite large in size approximately 20 inches square and the box is obviously a bit larger than this.One of several fine Chinese pieces for sale this week.
