Description:This is a treasure of an estate find! I have several old Chinese pieces that I will be working on posting over the next few weeks!This is a fine old antique molded clay or pottery statue of an Asian man wearing a long flowing robe holding something like a squared piece of wood or maybe a scroll in his hand. He has a tight bun at the back of his head, long flowing sleeves, with tasselshang down from a belted waist. Could he be anEmperor, Scholar, Taoist, Monk, or maybe aSamurai?The monochrome color is difficult to describe and very unusual... it is an amber-green celadon, or olive yellow green with a translucent glaze over top of a crackled glaze. This is absolutely fabulous! I have taken several pictures under different lights and backgrounds for you to see it\'s beauty. You won\'t be disappointed!
