This beauty is a lavalier pendant from the Edwardian Era and measures 1 1/2\" top to bottom and 7/8\" across. It has a gorgeous, natural pearl measuring 3mm. The diamond is also natural with no enhancements. It is an old mine cut diamond that sparkles in the light despite its small size. The old mine cut is one of the last diamond cuts that had to be done completely by hand. It is no longer offered in modern jewelry. It is a wonderful find when you find one married perfectly in a piece of jewelry because they are disappearing. The large diamonds cut this way have mostly been recut. At the bottom hangs a freshwater pearl that measures 6.5 mm. The setting is 10KT gold and is marked on the bail. This pendant is made of the finest materials available and is identifiable as an Edwardian piece.
