Here I am offering an unusual and good quality antique portrait miniature painting of a Continental cleric, maybe a bishop. Hard to date because of the clothing that did not change much, for sure from the 1800\'s, likelythe first part, maybe even from the late 1700\'s. Oil on metal.Fine quality painting, good characterization. Later silver colored frame with velvet fold out backing.

Size: Framed about 3 3/4\" x 3\". The miniature is about 3 1/2\" x 2 1/2\"
Condition: Very good antique condition. Can\'t spot any problems. See photos.
