This listing is for an Antique 19th Century Persian / Shahsavan / South Caucasian / Tribal Nomadic Rug Saddle / Camel / Donkey / Carpet , probably meant as a Cargo Bag Face .wool weave ( or silk ) ( I am sorry , I am not 100% sure ) on wool foundation. In excellent condition. Not washed while in my position but clean.Complete with nothing missing .Ends do not show in some images but are complete. A tribal weaving, it was woven for personal use by nomads.Wool foundation ( warp and weft ) fine, silk like hand spun wool.Brilliant Vegetal Dyes.26 1/2 inches by 45 inches overall including fringes. The colors are all natural and vegetable base dyes. Ready to be displayed. Exceptional hanging. Very fine knotting for this type of weaving. I count 15x15 per square inches.Really a one of a kind gem.Images are continuous and have an order ( front , back, sides, etc.. ) and should be viewed in continuous fashion.
