Unusual Art Nouveau silver gilt and gillouche enamel brooch designed as a styized blue bird. The brooch is enameled in shiny translucent turquoise blue with two \'wings\' in enameled translucent light blue. The enameling is very similar to pieces by James Fenton and Charles Horner. The bird is marked silver on the back with an unidentified mark next to it. It also has a design registration number that supports the Art Nouveau period.

The brooch is in excellent condition other than slight loss to the gilt work on the reverse. The enamel is excellent with no chips or scuffs. It measures 1 1/2\" and has the original and secure open \'c\' clasp. This is a very eye-catching brooch! Overall a wonderful addition to your fine Art Nouveau collection! Enjoy!
