Fine Chinese Qing Dynasty Porcelain Famille Rose Guanyin Statue on Base in Superb ConditionUp for sale is a rare old Chinese porcelain statue of Guanyin in famille rose enamel. What is unique about this piece is that the piece includes Guanyin sitting on her lotus seat, which sits on elevated architectural base that is also porcelain. The statue is hand painted and glazed with fine details. Notice the vivid tone and serene expression on her face. A very auspicious addition to your oriental deco!
The statue can be dated circa Qing Dynasty. It stands about 12 inch tall and 4 14/16 inch at the widest at the bottom. It is in overall Good condition. Minor small chips/flakes as you can see from our supersized picture. Some old skillful restoration on the head and face, as well as architectural base. enamel loss.
There is an old \"The British Antique Dealers Association\" sticker still on the back.
