Japanese Imari Porcelain 7-1/4\" Charger

This is agorgeous Imari porcelain charger that dates to the Meiji period. This vibrant platter has been hand painted in the traditional Imari colors, the underglaze cobalt blue,iron red, teal and gilt accents. The central medallioncontains peach. There are six outer panels. Three of the panels containleaf with an underglaze blue border and three contain asmall flowerunder a tree. The reverse has three underglaze blue decorations and concentric circles around thefoot rim.Measurements:7-1/4\" wide x 1 1/2\" high
