An Exceptionally Fine Quality French Ormolu Mounted Sevres Soft Paste Porcelain Wall Hanging Circular Charger of large proportions, early to mid Nineteenth Century.
Centered with a depiction of Queen Marie Antoinette, half length dressed in period costume, within a gilt border on traditional Celeste blue ground, interlaced factory marks verso and incised marks.
Retailed by The Boutique. 5 Molesworth Street, Dublin, Ireland, probably during the early Twentieth Century.
Condition: Good allover condition with no losses, slight wear to gilt decoration on porcelain. The Ormolu frame has been professionally re-gold plated, also two hooks at back have been later attached to aid hanging. (see image).
