The book measures 8½\"x4\", it has a frontispiece plate + v + [2] + 154 + [2] pages, there are 9 leaves of plates as called for. The book is bound by Price of Wells in full morocco, the leather has some slight fading, the binding is sound and remains very attractive. There is an owner\'s bookplate on the pastedown. The rear of the free endpaper has an inscription from the author. The text and plates are clean and crisp throughout.
