Fine Native American Acoma Pottery By Lucy Lewis Signed Dated 1961 No Reserve For Sale

ACOMA

From a local estate, here's a very fine piece of Native American Acoma pottery. This lovely pot is 4 1/2" tall x 7 1/2" wide with an opening of 4 7/8". It has a lovely geometric line design. Signed and dated on bottom, LUCY M LEWIS 1961 ACOMA NM. It's in as-found condition, I have no cleaned or touched it. There is a very tiny edge chip (see photo with pen point) and several very tiny spots that look like perhaps little pebbles hit the sides. These are very hard to see at first (see the photos with my finger pointing). There is also an 1 1/2" long very think crack coming down from the top edge. See the last two photos.
