This is a fine, antique, full size violin with a one piece back, and fine construction. It measures 23 &1/2 total, and the main body is 14 inches long. It has a label that says: C. F. A. EDDY Modeled from a genuine Strad. out of 150 year old wood. This instrument has excellent scroll work , and fine solid construction over all. As you can see on the pictures, there are nicks and scratches, and wear marks that are typical in old instruments. There is a vertical surface scratch mark on the bridge area on the left side of the right ff hole that is not to be confused with an open crack. Also, please study all pictures, as they are very much part of the description, and,,they show small scratches , nicks and wear marks. I don\'t see any open seams.
