You are offerding on a fine matched pair of Royal Vienna porcelain figurines,circa late 19th century.

This expertly hand painted pair of Royal Vienna figurines will make a great addition to any Royal Vienna or Porcelain Collection. This is one piece of a Porcelain Figurine Collectionthat we will be selling. Please see our other listings!

The bottom of both pieces are hallmarked with the Royal Vienna hand painted blue under glaze shield mark, often referred to as a \"beehive mark\" (as upside down it resembles a beehive). The marks on these figurines are hand painted &slightly irregular. Examples of Fake marks are over glaze marks, printed perfector not blue, and they may contain the words: Austria, Vienna, Royal Vienna, Wein, Germany or Czechoslovakia.

The figures are hand painted with delicate features. The gentleman is holding a rooster and a basket of flowers while sitting. The lady is holding a hen and a basket of feed while sitting. At her feet are baby chicks which she is feeding. There is much detail in their clothing, please see the photos.

Thefigurines each measure approx. 4\" tall and the ovoid bases measure approx. 2 1/4\" wide by 3 3/4\".

This item is an estate piece and inexcellent condition. There are no cracks or repairs. The hands, fingers, toes, arms and heads are intact! There is a small chip on a leafon the back side of the basket, being held by the man, consistent with the age, use and fragile nature of the piece. As usual, we will leave cleaning to the new owners if they choose to do so. Photos are part of our description. Please use the zoom tool on the photos provided to inspect the items.
