DescriptionA beautiful qualityauthenticlarge Englishvintagesolid 9ct goldcigarette holder by the famous silversmithsALFRED DUNHILL & SONS,and with a full set ofEnglish gold hallmarks for Birmingham 1969.Lovely stylised Art Deco design and a handsome size, all-over decorated with attractive engine-turned engravingand is complete with its original blue Bakelite mouth-piece with a traditional white spot denoting the Dunhill Company. Has a nice spring-loaded cigarette ejector action and it has a good heavy weight, approx9 grams.There arenoadded engraved personal monograms or inscriptions.
MeasurementsMeasures approx.4 inches (102mm)in length x 0.45 inches (12mm) in diameter.DateEnglishvintage 9ct yellow gold,with a full set of English gold hallmarks forBirmingham 1969(date letter \"U\"). Excellent clear struck hallmarks in 2 separate places. The mouthpiece is stamped \"Dunhill\".
MakerSilversmiths initials, \"A D\" with a diamond surround,(Alfred Dunhill & Sons).100% guaranteed genuine.
ConditionGood usable condition, with no solder repairs and no nasty knocks or dents. Has alittle tight seam split on the outer casing,nothing bad and is all secure, (see last photo). The cigarette ejector spring is still nice and strong and the Bakelite mouth-piece has no chips or cracks. Has a nice weight with a good heavy gold content and there arenoadded engraved inscriptions or monograms.
