For your consideration is this fantastic Republic Period Famille Rose Vase! This vase has exquisite detail and expert enamel work! Additionally, the coloration and attention to detail is second to only a few! The vase is marked on its underside with a Qianlong seal but more than likely dates to around 1935-1949. Porcelain from this time period, especially an example of this quality, arebecoming increasingly hard to find! Before the revolution there was a resurgence of highly detailed pieces, such as this vase, that sought to \'relive\' the glory of the Qianlong period. Some say that this is why these pieces are commonly marked with a Qianlong seal - to pay homage to their ancestors of the Qianlong Period. However, due to better kilns and skilled artisans, some of the porcelains and enamel work exceeded even the Qianlong standards. This shape, with its broad shoulder and tapering foot is so attractive and would be a great asset to any serious collection!
