Offered isa rare, finely preserved and good sized (1.5cm dia.) example of a medusoid, possibly Medusinites? spfrom the Verkhovoka Formation of the Winter Coast, White Sea, near Archangel, Russia.
This fine specimen shows detail of the thickened peripheral structures (pneumochambers), believed to be fluid-filled in life and of thecentral body, which has a distinct linear pattern of subparallel lines and there is a distinct linear structure tangental to the outer wall on the left side. Matrix approx 4cm X 3.5cm X 1.5cm.
LOW reserve for such a crisp, complete and good -sized example ofan unusual organismfrom a famous locality.
