Very nice old antique violin, from Italy!

Old, legible hand writted label.

Condition

In good condition for his age compared to the violin.
Old repaired cracks on the top.
The violin has no open cracks anywhere.
The wood is in perfect condition, beautiful and mature voice.
Very nice head with professional pegs.
Original very nice varnish.
Playable condition.

Sound

This good violin features a warm and mature sound, well-balanced and rather bright than dark,
with a somewhat mellow note and great potential for demanding musicians.
This is a performance violin, suited for large halls and concert venues where powerful projection and a dominating presence is desirable.
It has an alto\'s character at its core, but with soprano tones readily responding to a firmer bow.
This is a capable and prodigious tool for a top tier performer.
