A very fine quality old Pernambuco violin bow. Beautifully made bow.

The pictures really do show you the quality and beauty in this bow. The stick is made from selected light golden brown pernambuco wood.

The head is shaped wonderfully , finely shaped and curved. The stick is in fantastic condition , round, straight, very strong, great curved camber, plenty of flexibility.

No damages to this bow, no splits or cracks or repairs, a very well presented bow.

The frog and button work well and in great condition , the mounts appear silver, polished very well. Possible silver nickel .

The lapping and grip appear to be in fine order so the bow just requires hair and a light clean.
