This sale is for matched set of two new Firebird style pickups.These pickups are in the standard Firebird (mini HB) size format. The coils ofthese pickups are surrounded by grounded shielding and a grounded metal coverwhich is very effective in eliminating noise from external electric fields.

These custom wound Firebird HB pickups can be customized for you;contact me for magnet and winding options.

These pickups are made using the highest quality materials andmethods of construction:

Chrome plated metal covers
Shielded four conductor output cables
Vacuum potted in wax to eliminate microphonic squeal

Each pickup includes a specifications sheet detailing:

Number of turns of wire on the coil
Winding direction
DC resistance
Magnetic polarity
Magnetic field strength
Installation notes

A detailed wiring diagram with solder points indicated is includedwith each pickup.

Each pickup is individually handmade by custom guitardesigner and builder Pete Biltoft at the Vintage Vibe Guitars productionfacility.

Installation of pickups is relativelyeasy, but does require that you have a good quality soldering iron (25 wattpencil type recommended, such as the Weller WTCTP) and a good qualitymultimeter (Fluke model 10, for example) to check your work. In addition, thereference book Guitar Player Repair Guide, published by Hal LeonardPublishing Corp, ISBN 0-87930-291-7 is recommended.

These pickups are guaranteed for5 years from date ofpurchase for the original purchaser and will be repaired or replaced free ofcharge assuming there is no obvious physical damage. Details of the warrantyare included on the specification sheet provided with each pickup.
